This past Sunday, a group of 6 kids who go to my school were in an accident. Two died, and four survived. One of them, Brian, is in the hospital in critical condition on life support, and the other day woke up from a Coma. (no, they need to keep him in the medical coma because of the pain) Unfortunately, his parents can’t afford to pay the medical bills, so all of his friends got together and have been going around campus the past week going into each class asking for any kind of donation. Next Friday there will be a benefit show at The Talent Farm where you can come out and help support him and his family during their time of need. All you have to do is pay $12 and say “Empty Pockets” at the door and all of the money earned will go towards his family. Plus you get to see some really awesome music. There will also be people collecting donations while at the show if you want to give more. ;}
Seriously though, your attendance means so much, so please invite everyone you know and bring any change or cash you can spare for donations!

as i said before, fucking love this kid. south florida, show some love!! <3

Brian Corbett (18) was critically injured in a car accident hours from home. The fund will cover medical bills & family relocation expenses
18 year old Brian Corbett is in critical condition at Lee Memorial Hospital in Ft. Myers, FL, after he endured serious injuries to his neck and spine in a tragic car accident which killed two of his friends and seriously injured Brian and two others. Since the accident occurred several hours distance from his home in Weston, FL, his parents, Ed & Madelyn Corbett, and his older brother, Eddie, are staying in a nearby hotel, away from home and work. The hotel expenses alone, and the loss of income are creating a real hardship for Brian’s family as they remain by his side during this critical period. With multiple surgeries ahead and a long road to recovery, the Corbett family needs all the help they can get to weather this difficult time. Any donation you can make will be greatly appreciated.

Photo not mine. Let me just give you some background information behind this… So recently, this past Sunday, a group of 4 kids who go to my school were in an accident. 2 had died, and 2 survived. One is in the hospital in critical condition on life support, and this past day woke up from a Coma. Unfortunately his parents can’t afford the medical bills, so all of his friends got together and have been going around campus the past two days going into each class asking for any kind of donation. This gives me so much hope. It brought everyone together. It’s so beautiful. My school is one of the largest schools in america, number wise. We have 1,000+ kids per class. And everyone recognizes the death of the two and paid some type of respect. People who didn’t even know them posted a “R.I.P.” on the memorial facebook page for them. It’s amazing that from a terribly tragic event came something nice.
Rest in Peace, Sasha and Juan.

that’s me in the middle, holding the sign.
there were 6 kids in the accident, and Brian, the kid in the hospital, still hasn’t woken up yet. i talk to his mother every day about his condition and the fundraising we’re doing. two passed away and four survived, but they will all be damaged either physically, psychologically, or both. please pray for all of them <3
